ARNOLD, Mo. — The Arnold Police Department’s newest officer fights crime on four legs.

Nashville K-9 is donating a trained police dog, Fanta, to the department. She’ll undergo several weeks of training to receive her internal certification before being teamed up with an officer. Together, they’ll work to keep the city of Arnold safe.

Each year, Nashville K-9 donates one to two dogs to different municipalities across the country at no cost to taxpayers. They’re able to make the donation through the Ben Roethlisberger Foundation and the Giving Back Fund.
