Meet the Team

Vafa Homayoon joined Nashville K-9 to leverage his more than 25 years of loving, living with and training dogs.

Most of Vafa’s professional career has been in the restaurant business as a General Manager of a multi-unit franchise operation. He is a process and methods expert. During his restaurant career he has hired, trained and managed several hundred crew and managers; he has overseen the construction and has managed the staffing and opening of several new restaurants; he was the chairman for Dairy Queen franchisees in Tennessee for 5 years; and was director of operations for the Middle Tennessee territory for 3 years.

Vafa is a graduate of Beloit College in Business Management and was a baseball pitcher for his university. He is an active athlete, enjoying hiking and tennis.

When not working, Vafa enjoys his time with his wife, two children and his two dogs.
